Safety & Resources
Farm safety is an overriding concern for ag producers as injuries can compromise the efficiency of their operations, hurt the workers they care about and lead to punitive fines.
The California Department of Pesticide Regulations (DPR) is naturally the best source for information regarding the safe storage and use of pesticides. A California Business Compliance Guide can be found here: http://www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/enforce/cmpliast/compguid.pdf
The DPR's Worker Health and Safety Branch developed the Pesticide Safety Information Series (PSIS) leaflets primarily as a training aid for employees. California regulations require these documents to be part of pesticide handler and field worker training. There are two leaflet series: The "A" series covers agricultural settings and the "N" series covers non-agriculture settings. All leaflets are in PDF format in English, Spanish and Punjabi. You can find that information here: http://www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/whs/psisenglish.htm
For label and Material Safety Data access we recommend using Agrian at http://www.agrian.com/

I’ve been doing business with NVA since the 80’s. They are very progressive in the materials they carry making it easier to follow PCA recommendations. - Ken Kaplan | American Almond Orchards
