Post Harvest Fertilizer is very important as we go into the dormant period. Based on the tissue and soil analysis NVAS can put together a blend of materials that will not only be stored in the tree over winter, but will also be available in the soil as they start to push in the spring.
Pre-Plant Fertilizer and well timed top-dress applications are essential for winter crops such as wheat, oats, barley and winter forage. Our aqua rigs and dry spreaders are ready! Don’t forget about weed control on those winter crops. With the addition of certain foliar nutrients you will realize enhance weed control and increased yields.
Injection Equipment installations are better if done in the fall, before irrigation season. This equipment includes the liquid injectors and the Diamond-K solution machines used to inject dry gypsum and potassium sulfate into the irrigation system. We can adapt to any system and utilize either gas or electric pump configurations.
Soil Samples
Soil Samples are critical for building a solid fertility program. When used in conjunction with tissue samples from early summer, we can design exactly what is required to maximize yields. By utilizing a season long approach we can use various methods of application, such as custom dry blends in the late fall and early spring, custom liquid blends injected into the irrigation system and foliar nutrients incorporated with necessary pesticide applications.
